you could try to use 1 tbsp agar agar powder and perhaps also 1 tbsp of psyllium husk. I haven’t tried veganizing this recipe yet, so i’m not 100% certain that the agar will behave exactly like the gelatin- my hope is that it totally will, but i’m not sure if it will allow the recipe to rise in the same manner that gelatin does. if you do decide to give it a shot, can you let me know how it goes? i’m going to have play with it to convert it to vegan and i’m very curious to see how the agar works out.
