Eat your broccoli! ewww. There’s nothing like over boiled insipid florets of mushy used-to-be-green broccoli, to turn you right off of vegetables.
Funny, the best way to eat broccoli, is the simplest. Its so awesome, I would BET you eat a whole head of broccoli in one sitting. I’m serious. This recipe makes the bottoms crispy and crunchy and golden, and the insides super sweet. Bright green. Hint of salt. And use the stalks! The best part! Whats not to love, seriously. ANYONE can make this. Deeeeeeeelicious.

I bought it thinking it was similar to red pepper flakes to use on my roasted broccoli and was pleasantly surprised when I realized it’s WAY better than red pepper flakes! I’m now addicted to it and can’t eat my broccoli (or kale) without it!
Originally I just tried almonds. The last batch I did over the weekend was a concoction of everything I had: almonds, walnuts, brazil nuts, pecans, and … something else that I can’t remember (maybe pistachios?). For some reason I was out of cashews.
I’d be happy if I could just get tasty almonds. Anything after that is a bonus. Even mixing in seeds could be neat (kind of like Bombay Mix without anything corn- or wheat-based).
you’re on! :) i’ll rise to that challenge. what nuts have you been using?
Well, if you’re taking requests – any chance you have a good recipe for making mixed spicy/crunchy nuts? The recipes I’ve tried either end up with soggy nuts after a couple days or the coating doesn’t really stick properly.
Hiya Sabrina! thats so awesome! welcome!! Is there any recipe you would especially like to se up here? i take all requests :D Alea
I love broccoli!!!
